The National Lottery have announced today that the public are to get a say in where some of the money (£50 million to be precise) is to be allocated. Not before time I say! They have selected four projects that you will get a chance to vote for from the beginning of December. You can see details of all the projects at the special website.

Having read the details the one that will be getting my vote is Sustrans’ Connect2. Principally because this is the only truly national scheme of all the four on offer. The others are all worthy causes but will affect the local area more than the country as a whole.
