NDT in FT Well how cool is that? I am in the Financial Times! Well to be accurate it was AppSwing but as I am the public face of the business I am what they got. The article was about the growth of Reading over the next few years which is predicted to be greater than anywhere else in the UK. We were approached and asked if we wanted to be featured along with the football club, the local development agency and another small hi-tech firm called Microsoft. How could I refuse?

To be fair I have already had my fifteen minutes of fame. When I was about 10 I played for the Grove Challengers football club. Quite why I have never understood and I am sure my parents can’t fathom it either given my lack of interest in football and my aversion to all things sporty. Anyway, during my time there we made a record called “Grove Challengers are the Boys”, recorded in Millbrook School if I remember correctly. There followed a heavy promotional tour topped with a feature on Radio Oxford with Timmy Mallet. Only three or four children were chosen to be feature on air of which I was one. This is not something that I am necessarily proud of but I feel better for having got it out in the open.
