I keep meaning to upgrade my WordPress installation (I'm still on 2.0.x) because every new plugin/widge I try to add only works with a higher version than mine. I've been wary of taking the plunge because I've put a fair bit of customization into it (and not just the theme) - cfr your other post on customizations lost on reinstalls. Now I'm even more wary. I think I need a full day of peace and a bit more courage before I take the risk...

UPDATE: The not being able to delete problem is to a compatibility issue with Firefox as it does work with Internet Explorer. See the following on the Wordpress forums (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/155739).

The irony of this is that Wordpress promotes moving away from IE (http://browsehappy.com/). It's a bit difficult to do so when your product doesn't support the main alternative...
